F*"" F*t Cattle— There was a yarding of 177, the larger proportion of these being medinm quality, with a pen or two of extra prime. Prioen were about on a par with last week's rates. Beet bullock?, £9 15s to £11 ss ; medium to good, £7 10s to £9 Is ; light,.£6 5a to £7 5s ; best cowe and heifers, £6 10s to £7 15s ; medium to good, £5 15s to £6 58 ; light, £4 5b to £5 os. v"— dlieep— There was a large yarding of 1949. A fair proportion of these were of prime quality, but the majority were only of medium weight. Prices were about equal to those ruling last week. Best wethers, 24s to 26a 9d ; medium to good, 22 i 3d to 23s 6i ; light, 18ij to 21s ; best ewes, 21s to 24a 3d : medium to good, 19s to 21s 6d ; light, 15s 6d to 19s.
F«t Lambs — There was only a small yarding of 187. All fit for export were quitted at satisfactory prices. Beat lambs, 17s 6d to 18b 6d ; medium to good, 16a to 17s 6d ; light, 14a to 15a. Pigs— 2oo forward, the most of these being porkers and baconew. For baoooers the demand was a brisk one, and all forwaid ■old at satisfactory prices. Porkers also met with a fair demand, m also did suckers and Blips. Suckers, 6s to 10s 6d ; elipe, 11s to 15» ; I toree, 17b to 23d ; porkers, 25s to 30a ; light baoonere. 39a to 508 ; heary do, 51s to 55s ; choppers, up to 70a.
