London, July 4.— At the wool sales 9822 bales were oatalogned, chiefly inferior crossbred?. There was a record attendance from all parts, and there was keen general competition, including American?. Compared with the May closing rates, coarse crossbreds advanced 10 per cent., and fine from par to 5 per cent. Merinos were irregular, but on an average there was fully a 5 per cent, advance. London. July 7. — Competition is brisk at the wool' sales, and all c'asses are hardening.
Messrs Stronacb, Monis anl Co. report for the week ending July 11th as fo lows :—: — Rabbitskins— We offered a large catalogue on Monday, and prices were quite up to last week's, viz., Summers, to 8d ; autumns to 15fd; early winters, 15£ d; winters, 17jd (mixed bucks and does) ,• winter does, to 18|d ; blacks, to 33Jd ; and fawns, to 15Jd. Sheepßkins — We submitted a fairly large oatalogue on Tuesday to an average attendance of buyers, and prices were again very high and showed an advance on last week's quotations. We can confidently recommend consignments of these at present, and are sure that returns would give great satisfaction. Hides — No sale since last report, Tallow and Fat — No change to report in this market.
