Fat Cattle.— There was a la.rge yarding of 194 head forward, the major ty of these being good to prime bullocks-, with a few pens of extra. Prices at the commencement of the sale were fully equal to those ruling last week,, but towards the end they eased somewhat. Best bullocks, £9 10s to £10 15s ; medium to good, £7 10s to £9 ; light, £5 10s to £6 15s ; best cows and heifers, £6 10s to £8 5s ; medium to good, £5 to £6 5s ; light, £4 10s to £5. Slvcbp. — There was a small yarding of. 1550 forward. Prices were more than equal to late rates. Extra prime wethers met with a brisk sale, a pen of extra heavy being sold a.t 30s. Prime wethers, 23s to 27s ; medium to good, 21s 6;d to 22s 6d , light, 17s 6d to 20s ; prime ewes, 20s to 23sf; medium to good, 16s 6d to 20s; light, 12s to 16s. Lamb«.— About 200 were penned, nearly all of which were fit for export. Prices were about on a par with late rates. Best lambs, 17s &9 to 19s 3d ; medium t,© good, 15s to 16s 9d ; light, 14s to 15s. Pigs.— There was- a small yarding of only 80 forward,, most of which were porkers. Pigs of good quality of this class were in fa r demand, as were also baconers. Suckers and slips were in snort supply, but there was little demand except for good sorts. Suckers, 6s to 9s ; slipp, .life to 15s ; ytores, I,Bs to, 235/; 1 porkers, 28s to 35s ; light baconers,, 40» to 48s ; heavy do, 50s to 58s ; choppers, up to 68s.
