THE MEMORIAL VOLLJAIE.

We have received the following circular from the General Secretary ot the Second Australasian Catholic Cang,ress :—

' Li\e executive committee of the. Second Australasian Catholic Congress anticipate that tihe volume of Transactions will be ready for distuhutum in the oaiiy part oi IJJUS. Up to the date of publication persons will be Enrolled as members at 10s Gri each, entitling tnem to one copy of tne Transactions. Members may purchase extra copies at that price. After publication, the qost ot the volume to all, whether members or nonmembers, will be" 12s 6d. The attention of convents and religious houses is specially directed to the fact they may enrol themselves. It is in contemplation to publish the papers of the medical section in pamphlet form, not vn the Transactions. A copy of the pamphlet will be sent to all the clergy with the volume of the Transactions, but will only be sent to the adult lay members oi tihe Congress upcm their written request, addressed to the honorary secretary. The volume will include all the papers sent to the Congress v/hich gained tne approval of vie censors, whether read at the sessions or not In addition, there will be about a dozen pages of illustrations, and a full list of the members' names and aitl'dresses. We may add that the Congress Memorial Volume will be enriched with an mdcx of subjects, an index of authors, and a general index which will enormously enhance its value as a work of reference. Persons desiring to secure this valuable publication should forward enrolment lee (10s 6d) without delay to the resipactive secretaries of their various dioceses : Right Rev Mar. O'Reilly, Thames ; Very Rev. P. Power, Hawera ; Very Rev. Dean Foley, Temuki ; Rev. H. W. Cleary, Dunedin. It is hoped that the volume will be i.^uod early in January.
