Mr J P Whelan was successful In his bass solos. Two violin 'solos weie given by Mr. Herbert Bloy. 'The happy Jan ' and ' Alhambra Club march ' ve-e contributed on 'the banio by Mr. C'has Macfarlane. Two manoiorte solos l Alice ' and ' Minuet celebre,' were capitally Plavcd by Mr. TT A Lamb and an item by the pupils ot Misses Knight was heartily applauded. The accompaniments were played by Mr« S. Jackson, Miss \ M Sayers, Messrs. 0. X Shorland, and IT. A. Lamb. The entertainment was in every way a success.
