(From our own corrcsipondent.) October 1 1. The Forty; Hours' Adoration began in Wangamu on Sunday last. Solemn High Ma^s was celebrated by the Very; Rev. Father Keogh (Rector of St. Patrick's College), \ cry Key. Dean Cao&an being deacon and Rev. Father O'Sulhvan subdeaeon. Very Reiv. Dean (irogan, iJL adidressmg the large congregation, .said he was pleased to note the laige number of commiunicants that morning, and thanked the Very Rev. Fattier Keogh for coming fioirn Wellington to asisist at the devotions. At the conclusion of the Mass there was a procession oi tthe Blessed Sacrament, in which the school children, the Children of Mary, and members of the Sacred Heart Confraternity took part. Thioughout the afternoon until Vetpers there was a constant comitng and going of worshippers. Alter Vesners the Very Rev. Father Keogh preached a highly instructive sermon on the Blessed Sacrament. On Monday evening Very Rev. Fathor Power, of Iliawora, preached a fine scrmion on the Blessed Virgin. The deA'totions were brought to a close on Tuesday morning. High Mass was sung, f.nd the Forty Hours were concluded as they had been begun by ai procession of the Blessed Sacrament.
