r lhc following letter appeared in the Dunedin ' livening Star ' of Monday :—: — Sir,— Tn your issue of the 2lst inst. there appears a letter from the Rev. Ihs words, as officially reported by him in the Sydney ' Catholic Press. ' of A.pril 21, ran as follows :— ' I woiuld be most willing to supply the Ciatholic children with the four Gospels, according tic* a rdvised Douay versicyn, the samp ast will be read in our Catholic schools.'
