(From our own correspondent.) October 13. The annual collection for the Seminary Fund is now beir*^ taken up throughout the dioeesie. Tho members of the local branch of the Hibernian Society are to approach the Holy Table a<t St. Patrick's next Sunday. Tenders have been called in the local papers for the erection of a Catholic church at Tuakau. It is a farming district, and there is a good proportion of Irish Catholics and their descendants there, well settled on lieehiold properties. The Cemeteiy Board is to meet to-morrow evening at St. Benedict's presbytery to arrange £or the annual services for the dead, which take place in tine cemetery upon the nearest Sunday to All Souls' Day. At St. Benedict's on last Sunday there was Expositron of the Blessed Sacrament from the last Mass until Vesipers. In the evening the Rev. Father Gillan preached, after which there was the usual procession of the Blessed Sacrament, m which the Children of Mary atxd a nimi'ber of the children of the parish took partAt St. Patrick's also there was Exposition of the ' Blessed Sacrament.
