Fat Cattle— l7(s head were yarded. Good Canterbury beef maintained lt.s previous value, while North Island was eaisier (iood to prune local beef, 23/ to 27)/ , cows ami secondary, 20/ to 22/. Steers sold at £(i/10 to £11/12/6, heifers, £6/15 to £9/15/; cows, £0/2/6 to £8/15/, and one line at £10
Pigs —A very small entry and a poor demand, porkers weakening Baconers made 3d to 33d. per Ib, a few choice Id , poikeis, 4d to -l l ,d.
