As well as local buveis, Chi istchurch, Waimate, and Oamaiu were iepi c-ented, and ail sorts ot good stock mcl excellent competition We sold lor Messrs. C. Williams, C. Cassey, A Dodds, C. McDonald, R. Maishal>l, F. Auckland, R J Wood, Bauchop and Jordan, G. Chapman, E. Robeilson, and J. 11. Rochfort. Cows made £6 10s, +,(> Is i'id, £5 12s, £5 ]os, and £5 7s 6d ; steers and heiKMs, £5 12s, £5 ss, £i 17s, £1 10s, £1 ss, £4 2s, and £1 , yearlings, £3 7s and £2 17s; calves, 32s and 'ills , spring carts, to £11 10s.
