DUNEDIN HORSE SALEYARDS.
Messrs. Wright, Stephenson, and Co. report as follows :—
There was a moderate entry for Saturday's weekly sale. One four-year-old draught gelding fetched £56, a six-year-old, £54 10s ; and five aged horses at from£32 to £42. The principal sales in light harness horses were an excellent sprmg-dray fne-year-old gelding at £36 , 1 spring-cart gelding, fn e-years-old, at £25 ; 2 buggy horses, six-years-old, at £20 and £20 10s respectively , andthree cab horses at £R to £12 apiece. We quote . Superior young draught geldings, £55 to £60 ; extra good, prize horses, £56 to £63 ; medium draught mares and geldings, £36 to £18 , aged, £25 to £35; upstanding carnage horses, £.-50 to £35 ; well-matched carnage pairs, £70 to £90 , strong spnng-\an horses, £36 to £43 ; milk-cart and butchers' order-cait horses, £20 to £27 ; tram horses, £18 to £28 , light hacks, £10 to £15 ; extra good hacks, £18 to £25 , weedy and agell hacks and harness horses, Cl to £9.
