Wellington, June 15— The Agent-General cables under date June 13 : — Frozen Meat : Mutton — The market is steady, the average price to-day being : Canterbury, 3fd ; Dunedin and Southland and Wellington Meat Export Company, 3£d ; other North Island brands, 3fd. River Plate was further reduced id per lb this week ; the average price is now 3^d. Lamb, firm the average price to-day for New Zealand (Canterbury brand) is 5d ; brands other than Canterbury, 4Jd. New Zealand beef is quiet, and prices nominal. Hindquarters, 4Jd ; fores, 3d. Transactions in butter are very limited at 94s per cwt. Cheese is steady at 65s per cwt.
