Mrs. Nolan, Christchurch.
There passod away recently (writes our Chrislchurch correspondent) at her residence, Spreydon, at an advanced age and after a long illness, Mrs. Catherine No- , V-,," 71 * 0 of Mr< M - Nola ». one of the pioneer Catholics ot Lhnstchurch. Until lecent years the deceased lady together with her husband, led an active life With advancing age they went to reside first at Governor's Bay and latterly at Spreydon. A Requiem Mass was celebrated in the Pro-Cathedral for the repose of the soul of deceased by the Rev. Father O'Connell, who afterwards officuited at the interment in the Linwood Cemetery —
