His Grace the ArchbUhop of Melbourne has approved of a proposal to make rhe study or lri'-h hi-t ry a coinpal-orv section of curriculum in the higher forms of the Catholio schools of the Archdiocese. This is a step in the right direction, and paraiul with it -s the movement to cultivate the Gudio tongu. .
