At a most impressive ceremony wero assembled within the walls of San Silvestro in Capite the official ropresentatiAes of Great Britain, members of the Roman Court and nobility, and tho English-speaking! colony This was the To Deum in thanksgiving for the proclamation of peace m South Africa on tho afternoon of Sunday, June 8. Tho Iron, and Most Rev. Mgr.. Stonor. Archbishop of Trebizond, officiated! and gavo Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament.
