DUNEDIN HORSE SALEYARDS. Messrs. Wright, Stephenson, and Co report as follows .— The entry for Saturday's sale was very small, only about a dozen horses coming torward Two or three useful draughts wei e offered, but lmled to find bujers, the reserves bpitii; consideied too high. A good il.is-, of maic. tlu-ce juus old and suitable for sprin»-\an work, changed hands at £33 10s, and two or three other aged horses at corresponding values. There were a few buyers present for good young sound geldings, and we can safely recommend consignments of this class, which should be easily placed at lattj ruling values. The few light horses offered were a very inferior lot, and practically no business was clone in. this class. One good sort of springcart imaro, (.aged) found a new owner at £16 Young sound springdray and sprmg-carters are wanted, and a few could be easily disposed of at quotations. We quote : Superior young draught geldings, £40 to £48 , extra good prize horses, £50 to £54 , medium draught horses and geldings, £29 to £36 ; agedl do, £19 to £26 , upstanding carnage horses. £25 to £35 ; wellmatched carriage pairs, £65 to £75; milk-cait and butchers' order-cart hoi sos-, £io to £25 . train horses, £15 to £22 , light hacks, £15 to £1^ extta good hackd, £25 to £30; weedy and aged ha<;ks and harness horses, £2 to £4
