Addington Stock Market. There were good entries and a large attendance at the Addington market. Fat Cattle— 236 head yarded. Owing to the large entry the sale was irregular, but for prime quality beef last week's prices were maintained, though medium and inferior qualities were easier. Per 1001 b, 17s fid to 22s 6d may be quoted. Good steers ran from L 8 12s Gd to L 9 los ; medium, L 7 5s to L 8 2s 6d ; ordinary steers, Lfi to L 8 ; heifers, L 5 17s 6d to L 8 17s 6d ; cows, L 5 5s to L 7 17s Gd. Dairy Cattle — The demand was good, best sorts selling up to L 6 10s, and aged to L 5. Store Cattle — The sale was doll, and prices showed a decline. Fat Shbkp — There was a fair yarding. Heavy-weight wethers ■old at from 19s 6d to 20a 3d ; freezers, 17s to 19s ; backward and light wethers, to 168 5d ; heavy-weight ewes, 16s to 18s ; medium, 13s to 158 6d ; others, 10s 9d to *12s 6d ; merino wethers for frewring, 13s 3d. Fat ewes met with an irregular sale, but prices Were practically the same as those of last week. There was but little competition for freezing sheep, and most of the better class wethers were taken by butchers.

Stork Sheep— The entry numbered 11,276, for which the demand all round was good at last week's prices, but with a slight advance on breeding ewes.

Pigs — The supply was fairly good, but the market was somewhat irregular. Baconers realised from 353 to 47a 6d, and heavyweights up to 57s €d, equal to 3|d to 4d per lb ; porkers, 22s to 345, ox 4d to 4}d per lb , btorea, 12a to 17s ; small pigs, is 6d to 3s.
