Addingtom Stock Market. The entries at Addington comprised 3000 fat sheep, 3000 fat lambs 10.000 store sheep, 332 cattle, and 344 pips. Fat Cattle— There were 104 head yarded, mostly cow and heifer beef, with a few prime steers. The demand was weaker, and there was a decline of Is per 1001 b, best ruling at from 21s 6d to 2.U ; other, 17s (J i to 21s. Steers realised from L 6 153 to L 8 10a ; two prime bullocks, LlO 5a ; heifers, L 5 15s to L 7 12s 6d ; cows, L 4 17s (5(1 to L 7 10s, and np to L 0 5s for extra heavy. Fat Sheep — There were very few good wethers, the entry being mostly unfinished sorts, and the demand was weaker. Heavy wethers brought from 20s 4d to 21s; freezers, 18s to 19a ; light and unfinished sorts for grazing, IGa to 17s 6d. There were too many ewes, and the market was irregular, with a decline for all sorts. 8.-st brought from lf,a to 18s ; others, 12s to 15s 6d ; prime merino wethers, los 6d to 15s lid, ami poor sorts, 10a Id. Stouk Sheh.l' — These comprised mostly wethers and lamba. Except for good, young sheep, which about held their own, there was a decided decline, but the bulk of the yarding changed hands. Forward wethers fetched from l.">s 3d to 16s 7d : backward, 13s 8d to I.'h Id ; good young ewes, 16s Id to 18s 6d ; sound, 15s 7d to 16a Id ; aged (including Chatham Islanders), 5s 9d to ( Js 3d : lambs, 9a lid to 12s (id. Pios— There w as a medium supply of fats, which were slightly easier. Baconers brought from 33s to 42a (id ; extra heavy, to 52a (id, equal to 3J 1 per lb ; porkers, 20a to 32s <id, equal to 3Jd per lb. Stores were in good demand, and brought from 21s 6d to 24b while Buckers and weaners sold at 6s to 13s 6d.
