There were good entries at Addington to day.
Fat Cattle — The yardmg comprised 259 head, including some prime steers, some of whioh were taken for freezing at Ll4 sa. Lota of unfinished cows and heifers made the market irregular. Second quality waa easier, but anything prime sold at full rates. Bteers brought L 8 to Lll 10-t for beat, and L 6 10^ to L 8 for others ; best heifers, L 7 10s to LlO 7u 6d ; others, L."» 17a 6d to L 7 ; best cows, L 6 10a to L 8 10a ; others, L 4 13a to L 6. Fat Sheep — These were mostly good wethera and ewes with a iprinKling of unfinished sorts and aged ewes. Owing to the large market there waa less competition. Wethera sold at 18a to 22a; ewes, 12a to 16a, and up to 18s for good ; merino wethers, 12a to 14a 6d. Fat Lambs — Exporters were operating freely, and took the bulk of the yarding at from 14a to 16a 4d, and up to 17s 3d for extra good. Unfinished sorts sold at down to 13s. Store Sheep — These were mostly ewes and lamba, which sod at 10a lOd, 11b lid, 12a 2d. 12a 6d, and 13a 9d all counted, and all shorn wethers and maiden ewea 15a Id to 15s 2d ; lamba, 8s 9d. PIGS — There was a large entry, many unfinished sorts being in the fat pens. Stores were dull of sale. Baconera brought 30a to 48s 6d, or 3Jd to 3|d per lb ; porkers, 18a to 30a, or a jd to 4d per lb ; stores, 10s to 18s ; small, 5a to 9s.
