HOLIDAY EXCURSION TICKETS will be issued as under :— From Clinton, and all Stations North thereof, to Christchurch, on December 14 and 15 ; from Any Station to Any Station, from Deoember 18 to January 2. The Return fares will be :—: — FIRST CLASS. SECOND CLASS. 2d per Mile. | Id per Mile. The minimum being 4s and 2s respectively. All the above tickets will be available for Return up to and including Tuesday, February 19. 1901. The journey must be commenced on date that ticket is taken out, and may be broken at any station where the train is timed to stop after travelling 25 miles from the original starting Btation, provided the .specified time if not exceeded. >.• Goods and Live Stock Traffic will be suspended on December 25 and 2<>, and January 1 and 2. J^EW ZEALAND RAILWAYS TIME-TABLE ALTERATIONS On and after MONDAY, 17th December, the following alterations will be made in the Time-table :—: — The Train now leaving Dunedin for Wedderburn at 8 a m. will leave at 8.15 a.m., Abbotsford 5.40 a.m., Wingatui 8 55 a.m., Hindon 10.15 a.m., Middlemarch 11.37 a.m., Hyde 12.40 p.m., arriving Wedderburn 2 20 p m. The Train leaving Wedderburn for Dunedin at 11.45 a.m. will be accelerated, and will leave Ranfurly at 12 15 p.m , Hyde 1.48 p.m., Middlemarch 2.23 p.m., Hindon 3.45 p.m., Wingatui 5.0 p,m,, arriving Dunedin 5.45 p.m. A Goods Train, with passenger carriage attached, will leave Dunedin for Wedderburn at 2.10 p.m., leaving Wingatui 3.5 p,na. Middlemarch 6.40 p.m., and Hyde 8.0 p m. ' The Train now leaving Dunedin for Wingatui at 6.55 a.m. will run through to Mosgiel. arriving there at 7.40 a.m. The Train now leaving Dunedin for Mosgiel at 5.16 p.m. will be accelerated, and will leave Caversham at 5.26 p.m., Abbotsford 5,38 p.m.. arriving Mosgiel at 5 55 p.m. The Train now leaving Mosgiel for Dunedin at 2.35 p m. will leave at 2.0 p m., Abbotsford 2.40 p.m., Burnside 2.50 p.m., arriving Dunedin 3 2b p.m. By Order. An Excursion Train will leave Dunedin for Ohristohuroh at 10 35 p.m., Waitati 11.33 p.m , Seacliff 11.57 p.m., Waikouaiti 12.18 a.m., Palmerston 12.45 a.m., Hampden 1.28 a.m., Maheno 2.3 a.m., Oamaru 2.35 a.m., arriving at Christchurch 8.55 a.m. on December 23. This train will stop at Upper Port Chalmers, Waitati, Seacliff, Waikouaiti, Palmereton, Hampden, Herbert, and Maheno, also at any station where required north of Oamaru to allow passengers to alight.
