A pretty wedding which attracted considerable local attention took place at the Catholic Church, Ranfurly, on November 7, when Mr J. E. Carvalho, of Waipiata, was married to Miss E. M'Cluskey. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Father M'Mullan. The bride was given away by her cousin, Mr G. F. M'Cluskey. The bridesmaids were Misses Ellen B.and F. A. M'Cluskey, and Mr T. J, M'Parthy acted as best man.
