London, February 7.— Wheat : 8500 quarters of Viotorian February shipment have been sold at 29s 4£d. London, February 8. — The wheat market is firm and dearer. South Australian (January-February shipment) is offering at 29s 6d.

Butter is firm, with a steady trade. Colonial, 98s to 100s (occasional lots, 102s) ; Danish, 110s. Cheeße is steady ; prime unchanged. Rabbits firm. Five thousand crates ex Tomoana were condemned.

The imports for January increased by L 3,344,000 and the exports by L 3,236,000 as compared with the corresponding month of the previous year.

The American visible supply of wheat is estimated at 87,473,000 bushels.

London February 11. — Frozen mutton: Crossbred wethers, maiden ewes — Canterbury, 3d ; Dunedin and Southland, 2 13-16;

Oats — In fair demand. Prime milling, 2s Id ; good to best feed, 2s to 2s o£d ; medium, Is lOd to Is ll£d per bushel (sacks extra).

Chaff — Prime oaten sheaf is in good demand at L 2 15s to L 3, but medium is difficult to place at L 2 10s to L 2 12s 6d per ton (bags extra). Potatoes — Prices slightly easier. Best kidneys, L 2 10s to L 2 15s per ton (bags in).
