An account is to hand by the last English mail of a marvellous ride on a motor tricyole by a French rider named Bcconnais, who succeeded in riding 42 miles 337 yards in the hour. This wonderful performance was accomplished at the Princes Track, Paris, on a three and a-quarter horse power motor of the Aster type, fitted with Dunlop tyres, and was officially timed. Beconnais also rode a lap on the same track, 600 yards in circumference, in the fast time of 32 % seconds, equal to about 50 miles an hour. — *%
