Monsignor Merry Del Val, a prelate in close and constant attendance on the Pope, was on a short visit to London about the end of October. He is the son of the Spanish Ambassador at the Vatican, and a relative of the Count De Torrez Diaz, a well-known Spanish Catholic in London. He is young in yeare, but his experience in diplomatic matters is wide, and he has in all probability a brilliant oarreer before him.
