London, November 15. — Wheat : The Oakhurst's cargo, a South Australian July shipment, sold at 30a 3d. ■/1/ 1 Napier, November 15. — Messrs. Nelson Bro3 have received the rollowing cable from the C. C. and D. Company, London : — ' Frozen meat market continues very depressed, and little sign of improvement in prices. Best Canterbury, 3£d ; Dunedin and Southland, 2Jd ; Napier and North Island, 2jd. Lamb : First quality, 3§d ; second, 3d.' London, November 17. — The wheat market is dull and weak, heavy arrivals of colonial shipments depressing the market. Sailer parcels afloat, 28s 6d. There is a slightly better inquiry for butter. Choicest colonial, 100s to 102s. Danish is unchanged. Melbourne, November 17. — The wheat and flour sent from the country to the seaboard to date is 3,400,000 bags — nearly three times as much as at the same period last year.
A Wellington wire statea that the Agent-General reports as follows : — Butter, 100s, steady ; cheese, 56a, firm. Messrs Donald Reid and Co. report as follows :—: — Oats — Our catalogue was composed of medium to best feed lines. The attendance of buyers was exceptionally small, and in the absence of satisfactory competition the lots catalogued were passed in for private sale. We quote : Prime milling to Is lid ; good to beat feed, Is 9d to la lOd ; medium, la 7d to Is B£d per bushel (sacks extra). Wheat — The demand for milling quality is quiet at about late quotations. We submitted a few lots of good to best fowl wheat, which sold at 2s Id to 2a 5d per bushel (sacks in"). Potatoes — The market is over-supplied with Derwents, mostly fresh from pit, aud until stocks are more reduced we cannot advise clients to consign. We quote : Best Derwents, 20s to 22s lid. per ton (sacks in). Chaff — The supply coming forward is not great, but the demand on Monday was slack, and gales were difficult to effect on the level of last week's values. We quote : Best oaten sheaf, L 2 10d to L 2 15s ; medium to good, L 2 to L 2 7s 6d per ton (bags extra). Messrs. Stronach Bros, and Morris report as follows :— Wheat — Prices remain the same as last report, up to 2s 8d for prime milling velvet and Tuscan. Oats— Are a shade easier. Prime milling, la 9£d to Is 10 Jd ; best feed, Is B£d to Is 9Jd ; medium, Is 7d to Is Bd. Barley — Very little prime offering, but what is, is worth 2s 9d to 3s 3d ; medium, Is 101 to 2s Id ; inferior, Is 6d to Is 9d. Chaff — The town remains over-supplied and prime is only worth L 2 10s to L 2 12s 61 ; extra, L 2 15a ; medium to good, L 2 to L 2 7s 6d. Potatoes — Best Derwents, 25s to 30s ; picked lots, 355.

Oatmeal : LlO. Potatoes : well picked, good sample, 20a ; old stock from Is per bag. Chaff : much easier demand ; L2ssto L 2 15s.
INVERCABGILL PBODTJCE MABKET. The Invercargill Grain Brokers' Association report that owing to the scarcity of freight for oata to South Africa, less business is passing. There is, however, no reduction in quotations, viz. — A grade, 2s Id ; B grade, 2s ; C grade, Is Id, f.o.b. (sacks in). Invercargill prices current: — Wholesale: Butter, fresh, 5d ; eggs, 7d per doz ; cheese, farm, 3£d ; bacon, farm, 7d ; do (rolled"), farm, Gd ; hams, 8J ; potatoes, Ll 10s per ton ; barley, 2s to 2s 6d ; fowl wheat, 2a ; chaff, L 2 per ton ; flour, L 8 : oatmeal, L 9 to LlO ; pollard, L 3 ; bran, L 2 10a, including bags.
