(From our own correspondent). November 20. The Rev. Brother John, Provincial of the Marist Order in Australasia, passed through Timaru on Friday last on his way South. The following pupils of the Sifters of St. Joßepb, Temuka, were successful at the recent musical examinations conducted under the auspices of Trinity College, London —Misses Earl, Scannell, Beri, O'Donohue, Boulston and Wauii g. Misses E Fitzgerald and Jackson (pupils of Miss Fitzgerald), and Misses Dennehy, Egan, Yenning, A. Gonlding, Burns, Hoare, Knight, and M. Goulding (pupils of Miss E. McGuinnesb) were also successful.
