One of the many points which the tyre scores over its unsuccessful imitators, is the moulding of the air-tube in shape. This prevents any risk of the tread being in tension when the tyre is inflated, and also causes the air-tube to take its place inside the outer cover more readily, and thus minimises the risk of nipping the tube under the wires. — +* m
