Clearances are granted at no extra charge to members. The entrance fees and rates of subscription will be found to com* j pare favourably with those charged by other societies, and are as moderate as practicable, having due regard to the benefits secured, a synopsis of which is subjoined : — A Benefit Member receive during illness £1 per week for TWENTY-SIX CONSECUTIVE WEEKS, 15s. for the next thirteen weeks, and 10i. for a further period of thirteen we»k< ; on death of wife, £10 ; at his own death his relatives receive £20. He has I medical attendance and medicine for himself and family iuunedi itely .on joining. If a single man with a WIDOWED MOfHKB, A.SD ! BROTHERS AND SISTERS (under 18 years of age), he has medij cal attendance and medicine for them. A member removing can hate \ a CLEARANCE which will ADMIT him to ANY branch of the Society in the localiry to which he may remove. Honorary and Life I llonorarj Members ate provided for, and may, on the payment of a | SMALL weekly contribution, secure medical attendance. Our fellow Catholics have no longer the excuse, heretofore too well founded, that there is no Catholic society for them to join, offering advantages equal to those afforded by other benefit societies, as the HIBERNIAN AUSTRALASIAN CATHOLIC BENEFIT | SOCIETY is in a position to offer benefits not to be surpassed by any ! other society in New Zealar.d ; it is therefore confideutly anticipated j that in a very short time many thousands will be enrolled in its ranks throughout this Colony, forming an institution to which it will be an j honor to belong, and of which the members may feel justly proud. i | As set forth in the introduction to the Rules, one of the objects of the Society is for the members to " Cherieh the memory of Ireland," rejoicing in the prosperity and condoling in the suffering* of their ) native land, and to bind them yet closer in social chains of fraternity and friendship iv this distant land.
