Sir,-Your contributor, "Auditor Particular," in your issue of October 16, startled me by suggesting that Parliamentarians too often ignore the distinction between comment (noun, stressed on first. syllable) and comment (verb, stressed on second). No, no! Both stressed on first syllable. His other example estimate (verb, last syllable pronounced as spelt) and estimate (noun, pronounced estimit) is correct.
