Oily Marked Wallpaper
Year Aunt Daisy, Could’ you please tell me a hint for getting a hair-oil stain off the wallpaper? We have recently shifted into a lovely new home and a man visitor sat with his head against the paper and left such a mark. Very disappointing.H.R.S., New Plymouth. Try this: Make a paste of either Fuller’s Earth or powdered magnesia with carbon tetrachloride and lay it on. When it is dry, it will flake off and the stain should be gone. Repeat if necessary.
