SOCIAL SECURITY CHARGE NOVEMBER INSTALMENT The second instalment of social security charge (1/6 in the E) on income other than salary or wages derived during the year ended March 31 1957 , falls due on November 7 1957 and is payable at any office of the Taxes Division, Inland Revenue Department, or at any Money Order Post Office_ 10 % penalty will accrue on any amount not paid on or before December 7 , reducible to 5 % if payment is made on or before February 7 , 1958 COMPANIES and other corporate bodies are required to pay the full year' S charge within one month from February 6, 1958 WAGES TAX AII employers are notified that severe penalties are provided for failure to deduct and account for wages tax (1/6 in the E) from all salaries, wages oOr other remuneration paid to permanent or casual employees, whether on a time , piece work or similar basis_ Pay sheets, wages books, and receipts for wages, sa laries or other classes of income subject to the deduction of the charge at source, must be retained for a period of not less than five years and made available for inspection by any person authorised by the Regulations to inspect books or other documents.
