SINGAPORE POLYTECHNIC HEADSHIP OF DEPART- MENT OF BUILDING AND ARCHITECTURE The Board of Governors invites appli- cations from persons with appropriate qualifications in Architecture and/or Civil Engineering and with, preferably, good experience in industry and tech- nical teaching_ It is hoped that the Department will provide courses for the City and Guilds of London Building Trades Examina tion, National Certificate type courses in Building Constructions etc_ courses for Chartered and Quantity Surveyors, Town Planners, etc:, and preparation for the proficiency tests of the Insti- tute of Architects of Mclaya and eventually, if possible preparation for A.RABA= New buildings are being erected and the Head of Department will plan the equipment for the De- partment. Salary incorporating all allowances: Ms2ooo Per month. The Malayan Dollar is 2/4 Sterling: Appointments will be on contract for Six years with the option of renewal for further three years.
