In this photograph Alan Christensen is shown in front of the piano at the rear, Ray Hill at the double bass and the vocalist Joan Chunn at the microphone. Other members of the band are, from left: Jim Rothwell (trumpet), Jack Hodgkinson (third alto saxophone), Jim Penny (clarinet and first alto saxophone), Arnold Beck (second tenor saxophone), and Jim Hayden (drums and effects). Bernard Reade will alternate with Joan Chunn as vocalist and will be heard in the next broadcast on March 18
