ACKNOWLEDGMENT
(CHEESES OF THE WORLD, by André L. Simon; Faber and Faber, English price 30/-. The President of the English Food and Wine Society, to whom we are already indebted for much wisdom about wine, now turns his attention to cheese. It is depressing, after reading what he has to say about the noble cheeses of other countries, to find that he can dispose of New Zealand in six lines. He gives us some recipes, and there are several tantalising illustrations in colour.
