An announcement from THE NEW ZEALAND DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH Wise eating Whatever your age good food is important for good health: for older people In later years of life you may need less food in quantity; but quality is as important as ever: Eat what you like enjoy your meals but for your health's sake include these basic foods in your diet EVERY DAY : meat, fish or egg fruit One helping of one of these at least: Some every day and if your teeth two are better. If you don t, or trouble you use peeled soft fruit such as pear or banana.
