a ee enon eenneseery All of his fans remember the recordings Art Tatum made some years ago with a trio that included the singing string bass of Slam Stewart; today those discs are collectors’ items. Now, Art Tatum has brought hack Slam Stewart, along with guitarist Everett Barksdale, and the trio’s wonderfully refreshing rhythm is available once more for all to hear.
