THE SECOND TEST
HE second cricket Test between the M.C.C. and Australia will be held at Sydney from December 17 to 23. Broadcasting arrangements will be the same as for the first Test. Here they are: Eoch day YA and YZ stations will broadcast frequent progress scores, and at 2.45 p.m., 5.15 p.m. and 7.15 p.m., will relay the lost 15 minutes of commentary of each period of play and the five-minute summary which follows. After the 9.0 p.m. "News" and at 7.18 a.m. the following day, the same stations will give the day’s scoreboard. From the ZB stations and 2ZA progress, adjournment and stumps scores will be broadcast as soon as possible after they are available, and each evening Eric Bedser’s 15-minute review of the day's play will be heard from these stations. This review will be broadcast at 9.45 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and at 9.32 p.m. from Monday to Thursday. Radio Australia will broadcast full commentaries each day from the start of play at 1.30 p.m. N.Z. time to stumps ot 7.30 p.m. These will be heard on 17790 ke. and 15320 kc., and also from 5.10 p.m. to 5.42 p.m. on 15200 kc., and from 6.0 p.m. to stumps (including the scoreboard) on 9580 kc.
