Cream on Carpet

This may help the woman who has_ been unfortunate enough to spill kero- _ gene on her carpet. Some time ago I spilt a half pint of cream on my carpet -a mushroom shade. Try as I would, nothing seemed to budge the obstinate stain. Then to my joy I was told of this: 1 tablespoon salt, 2 tablespoons vinegar and about 12 pint water. I rubbed the offending marks with this, and with the first application the marks had almost_ disappeared. On rubbing the marks’ again they really were all cleaned away. Now, needless to say, this is my standby for all marks on the carpet. It is really safe and reliable.
