WEEKLY "SPORTS DIGEST"
INSTON McCARTHY, whose voice was heard daily during the period of the Empire Games in Vancouver, has a new assignment waiting for him on his return from Canada at the beginning of next week. He is to be heard in a new sports programme --- "Sports Digest" -which will be broadcast weekly over a link of the YA and YZ stations, at 8.0 p.m. on Wednesday evenings. The first of the new sessions will be on the ‘air on August 18. In each session Mr. McCarthy will comment on happenings in all branches of sportboth at home and abroad-during the preceding week.
