About Aqua Bowls
Dear Aunt Daisy, I am a proud-owner of an aqua bowl, having had mine some four years. From experience, one gets to know what flowers will keep longer in the bow! before the water clouds. Chrysanthemums and polyanthus, which I do not put in the bowl now, are only in for 2 days before the water goes horribly cloudy. A rosebud will keep in the same water ap-
proximately a week. Hydrangeas are the best, especially after being in the garden some time. I keep mime.in the bowl about a fortnight withdut changing the water." They remain beautiful. It matters not whether there is an air bubbleit makes no difference whatsoever whatever flower is used. I know "J.D." will be thrilled when she uses a hydrangea in her bowl. They are beautiful, even when they have turned green, with tinges of red. I keep my bow! away from the
sun.
