Lemonade

Dear Aunt Datsy, I read in a recent Listener where "Constant Reader," of Nelson, wanted a recipe for lemonade. She may like. this one: Put two sliced lemons, two pounds sugar and 2 oz. cream of tartar into an earthenware jar. Pour over them 2 gallons boiling water. Stir. Let it stand 24 hours, then strain, bottle and tie down corks. It will be ready in ten days or two weeks. Very. like bought. lemonade only a better flavour.
