The Polish Army Choir, which is composed of 52 officers, have distinguished themselves by their recordings of British and Polish songs; their two outstanding soloists are Lieutenant Edward Boleslawsky, who is one of the principal tenors, and Lieutenant M. Nowakowski, who is the bass soloist. The conductor, Lieutenant J. Kolaczkowski, arranges most of the songs and has built ap a body of amateurs into an outstanding choral force. He was formerly a musical director of one of the most important broadcasting stations in Poland, and not only possesses a splendid musical technique, but js also a brilliant pianist. 4ZB will present recordings of the Polish Army Choir at 6.30 tonight. -' At a quarter past six this evening, 274A will broadcast a performance of Beethoven’s Sonata in A, Op. 2, No. 2, by Mary Good (piano).
