The world-famous Glasgow Orpheus Choir was first established in the year 1906. and since then has become famous not only in England but in Canada and the U.S.A., and here in the Seuthern Hemisphere. The founder and conductor, Sir Hugh Roberton, who died recently at the: age of 78, spent a lifetime in coaching and training voices in harmony. 4ZB will present recordings by this group at 4.30. * Ea * The smooth trumpet playing of Harry James takes the air from 2ZA at 9.30, this evening, when his orchestra is featured in "Romance in Rhythm." ee!
