MORE than 50 players and entertainers, scattered along the 800 or more miles from Auckland, through Wellington, Christchurch and Dunedin, to Invercargill, will take a "live" part in the final broadcast of the current series of "Variety Magazine," which will be heard from the four YA stations, 4YZ, and Radio New Zealand, at 8.0 p.m. on December 9. Bob Leach's Dance Band (above) will make Auckland's contribution to the programme. The show will last half an hour.
