STARTING on September 21 the "Children's Session" at 2YA on Mondays will contain a series of weekly interviews with people in unusual occupations. The first of these, conducted by Belinda, will be with Ivor Rose, whose job is controlling pests of all kinds. In the photograph above, Mr. Rose, wearing goggles and protective clothing, is explaining to Belinda how his respirator works when he enters rooms filled with poisonous vapour. Ivor Rose, who came to New Zealand nearly three years ago, was in the Merchant Navy during the war and he had an opportunity of studying the methods of American sanitation engineers when they were cleaning up Rangoon after the Japanese occupation, This new series is called "Someone Else's Story"
