1OW veterinarian in the Department of | Agriculture, Wanganui. Dr. S. Jamieson (right) is a man of wide experience in all branches of his job. For many years he was in the Animal Health Division of the British Ministry of Agriculture, and he has been chief Veterinary Investigation Officer in the North of Scotland College of Agriculture and Senior Lecturer in Bacteriology at the Medical School, University of Aberdeen. Dr. Jamieson has had much experience of practical field problems and has made many original contributions to veterinary research. Dr, Jamieson is being heard now as "The Radio Vet" in a monthly programme from 2XA. These programmes (the first was broadcast in August) are being heard regularly on the second Thursday of the month at 8.0 p.m.-the next on September 10.

In his talks, Dr. Jamieson will discuss the major disease problems of cattle and sheep in New Zealand, aiming to present technical information from a practical point of view. Dr. Jamieson
