Everest Again
A/HY wasn't it in "The Listener?" The BBC programme about the ascent of Everest, heard from main — National Stations and the Commercial network on August 9 (and again from 2ZB the following Sunday), had arrived by air from England only two days before the first broadcasts. The widespread appreciative comment suggests that a very big audience heard it, but those who didn’t are to have _ another chance. It will be broadcast from YC stations at 9.30 p.m. on Friday, September 4, and later from X stations. Speakers in the programme include the New Zealanders, Sir Edmund Hillary and George Lowe, shown at right at the 1YA_ microphone’ soon after they arrived back home
