HOUSING CONFERENCE REPORTS
REPORTS on the proceedings of the National Housing Con- ° ference, to be held at Parliament Buildings trom Tuesday, August 4, to Friday, August 7, will be broadcast from YA and YZ stations at 7.0 p.m. each day. For the first three days the report will be made up of recorded extracts from speeches made at the conference, On the last day, the Ministerial chairmen of the _ three committees — Building, Finance and General-into which the conference is expected to divide, will give summary comments on the work of the conference. When it opens on Tuesday morning the conference will hear first a statement of Government policy, and it will then go on to consider all aspects of New Zealand’s .housing problem. It is expected to sit each day from 9.30 a.m. to 9.0 p.m. ,
