The Listener about her wanderings, has been to the notorious Straits and has described her journey in three talks which are to be heard in 4YA’s Topics for Women, starting on Friday, July |.
10. Journey to the Straits of Magellan starts from Lima, Peru, and the first talk is mainly about that country. In her other talks Miss Hodgson gives a graphic picture of Bolivia and Chile and their peoples. Many listeners will already have heard Miss Hodgson’s earlier series of talks about life in Labrador, where for several years she was an officer of the Grenfell Association.
