[}{Ow David Conway and his friend Pat Manners become involved by chance in a complication of skullduggery that includes transport robbery, blackmail and a touch of murder is toid in The Devil to Pay, an Edward Jf. The principal parts are played by Peter Wilde, who had his first broadcasting chance when serving with the R.A.F. in the Middle East during the war and since 1946 has acted in many Birmingham productions, and Peggy Hassard, who (like Peter Wilde) has played lead in a previous Edward J. Mason serial and has had wide experience in radio acting.
